He was the standout last night...all over the place. Only mistake he made was getting outmuscled by Tedenby in front for Albany's second goal. The strange thing is, game-to-game when you watch him, he's clearly the best forward the team has defensively, yet he somehow has the worst +/- on the team (-12). I know +/- isn't the most telling stat, but that surprised me when I saw it. Meanwhile Donovan leads the team at +7 and is the only defenseman on a core that's pretty weak in its own zone that's in plus territory.

Yeah, I'd think it would too. It's not from lack of effort or him being out of position. Every game he plays in he makes good defensive plays, and he's great at covering the point when they're shorthanded. Of everyone on the team, I think he's most ready to make the jump.
